Ali Longo
Co-Founder
Ali is a Colorado native. She played club volleyball for seven years and was a four-year varsity starter at Chatfield Senior High. Ali went on to play at Penn State University for two years, winning a national championship in 2010.
After playing libero for Penn State in 2011, Ali transferred to the University of Hawaii to continue her collegiate career, where she suited up as libero in every match of the 2012 and 2013 seasons. She also competed on the University of Hawaii beach team. After graduation, Ali played professionally in Wiesbaden, Germany, for two seasons. Then, she was an assistant coach at Pepperdine University for one season, and has coached all ages and abilities since.
Stephanie Schick
Co-founder
Stephanie is one of the co-founders and co-directors of Rise Volleyball Club. She is also the head coach of the Chatfield Senior High volleyball program. Her high school teams have made it to the 5A State Championship tournament eight times in her 17 years, including a trip to the championship match in 2014. In 2016, Stephanie won the Coach of the Year award for all female high school sports in the state of Colorado. Several of her athletes have gone on to play college volleyball at all levels. Her commitment and consistent energy shows her love of the game and of the athletes she coaches. Stephanie has also been a math teacher at Chatfield since 2007. She and her husband, Ryan, have two daughters.
Ryan Schick
Co-Founder
Ryan fell in love with volleyball watching his wife, Stephanie, coach at Chatfield. He has been her assistant coach for nine years.
Ryan is a small business owner, having founded Mile High Car Helper in 2009. He is driven to help make Rise one of the top volleyball clubs in Colorado.
